To determine a team's total points, add the following:
Multiplying a team's winning % by 10.
Multiplying a team's losing % by -10.
add 25 points for a two-loss or a one-loss/one-tie seaason.
add 50 points for a one-loss or no-loss/one-tie season.
add 100 points for a Championship Season (AP or Coaches Poll)
subtract 25 for a losing season and subtract 50 for zero or a one-win season.
A team's points were normalized to Nebraska's total points.
